Jiyes Learning Institute is providing high quality outcome -based skills Learning and Training as per National Occupational Standards (NOS) and qualification packs (QPs) for jobs roles of Beauty Therapist, Assistant Beauty Therapist, Assistant Hair Stylist, Beauty and Wellness Courses in Chandigrah and Haryana.
Accreditation and Affiliation: The training centers are accredited by NSDC and are affiliated with the APPAREL MADE-UPS HOME FURNISHING Sectors Skills Council.
NSQF: Trainee shall be imparted as per National Skill Qualification Framework(NSQF).
The Government has constituted Prime Minister’s National Council on Skill Development for coordinated action for skill development, both in the domain of public and private sector. The National Council on Skill Development mandates skill formation to develop the workforce with enhanced skill through structured programme and assessment.
Owing to the presence of widespread training centers, participated by both public and private entities, determining the quality of training rendered at different training centers is crucial to the success of the skill development programme and thus skill assessment is essential part of skill development.
AMH SSC has been launched with a primary mandate of enhancing and to build a capacity in skill development. One of the salient features of the AMH SSC is designing of the training programmes, based on industry demands of different segments and to ensure that all successful trainees are certified through accredited assessment agency.
AMHSSC has been authorized by NSDC for evolving assessing proficiencies of skills of trainees for the apparel sector, made-ups and home furnishing for their respective subject areas.
The assessment is defined as a structured process in which evidence of performance is gathered and evaluated against approved NOS/QPs, approved by the NSDC. Assessment is the process of evidence collection of a person’s competence level through range of methods-tests, observations, interviews, assignments and professional discussion etc.
The objective of the assessment and certification under Sector Skill Council is the certification of competency. The main objectives of assessment of testing and certification are as follows:
- Effective assessment testing and credible certification of formally /informally acquired skills of targeted persons in the 12th Five Year Plan.
- Setting uniformity in the assessment of testing and certification process in the clothing, made-ups & home furnishing sector for enhancing identical delivery of skill sets.
- Certification being recognized by national and international Governments, private industries and trade organizations.
- Publicize rating and outcome information on assessment of trainees and institutions.
Enrollment: It is mandatory for the candidates to have an Aadhaar ID during the enrollment process; the bank account details, however can be uploaded later.
Curriculum: The model curriculum and content for the respective qualification packs(QPs) developed by SSCs and approved by NSDC.
The Training Hours: The training hours will be as per the Qualification File approved under NSQF. It is mandatory for the students to maintain 70% of attendance.
Training Of Trainers(TOT): SSCs are mandated to conduct Training of the Trainers(TOT) for certification of the trainers.
Bio metric Attendance System: System of recording the trainee's and trainer's attendance through Bio metric Attendance system is mandatory.
Short Term Training: Industry Designed quality skill training is enabled to make youths employable and earn their livelihood.
Recognition Of Prior Learning: Individuals with prior learning experience or skills are also assessed and certified under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) component of the scheme that aims to align the competencies of the unregulated workforce of the country of the NSQF. To address knowledge gaps Bridge Courses to RPL candidate are also offered.
Assessment And Certification: Detailed assessment criteria is finalized by SSCs that is included in assessor's profile, technology enabled assessment. Aadhaar number is mandatory for all the assessors and they are required to present the sane at the time of assessment. Video recording of the assessment will also be prompted assessment agencies (AAs) aew em paneled by the SSCs.
Placement Guidelines: PMKVY envisages to link the aptitude, aspiration, and knowledge of the skilled workforce it creates with employment opportunities and demands in the market. Every effort thereby needs to be made by the PMKVY TCs to provide placement opportunities to candidates, trained and certified under the Scheme. TPs shall also provide support to entrepreneurship development.
Monitoring Guidelines: To ensure that high standards of quality are maintained by PMKVY TCs, NSDC and empanelled Inspection Skills Development Management System(SDMS). These methodologies shall be enhanced with the engagement of latest technologies.
